If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, seek immediate medical assistance:
Sudden vision loss
Eye pain
Extreme sensitivity to light
Swelling in or around the eye
A scratch on the eye surface
Chemical burns
A foreign object stuck in the eye
Eye discharge and/or redness

Do NOT try to remove a dislodged object on your own
Do NOT use tweezers, scissors or other objects in your eye
Do NOT put ointments or other medications in your eyes unless directed to do so by a medical professional
