Dr. Olga Savitska is dedicated to providing the best quality eye care for her patients and ensuring that they receive an excellent optometric experience.
Olga Savitska received her Doctor of Optometry (OD) from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry, where she also earned the distinguished RACH Memorial Award as well as the COVD Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy. She is a fellow of College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD).
Dr. Olga Savitska grew up in Toronto and very excited to be offering services in her community. She has a special interest in paediatrics, vision therapy, and neuro-rehabilitation.

Dr. Dennis Bader has been providing excellent care to all his patients at the Bayview location for over 40 years.
Dr. Bader received his training at the School of Optometry, South Africa (Faculty member), University of Houston, Texas (OD Degree) and University of Waterloo, Canada (M.Sc.). He taught optometry at the University of Waterloo and was the head of the Children’s Vision Clinic for three years.
Dr. Bader is a member of the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Optometrists and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Bader specializes in children, but sees patients of all ages.

Vision Therapist, Office Manager
After completing her Masters in Education & Psychology at Drohobych University, Natalia went on to complete an Early Childhood Education Program at George Brown College, as well as the Comprehensive Foundational Program in Vision Therapy from Salus University.
After working in a classroom setting for 30 years, Natalia decided to take on a more specialized approach to working with children as Bayview Vision’s Vision Therapist & Office Manager.
Natalia is fluent in English, Ukrainian, Polish, and German.

Dr. Natasha Gasser earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario in 2018 and her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in 2022, followed by a residency in ocular disease at Braverman Eye Center in Hollywood, Florida.
Her passion for eye care began in high school when she joined her family on a mission trip to Nairobi, Kenya. There, she helped provide eye screenings and fit glasses for people in surrounding communities. Witnessing the joy and life-changing impact of improving vision confirmed that optometry was the right path for her.
Today, Dr. Gasser brings that same compassion and dedication to every patient she sees. She values the variety and challenge of her work and strives to make each visit comfortable, thorough, and informative.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Gasser enjoys Pilates, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Alexa Hecht is a dedicated optometrist at Bayview Vision, providing expert, patient-centered care with a focus on dry eye disease management and the latest advancements in technology. A graduate of the University of Waterloo's Doctor of Optometry program with Distinction, she shares her passion for eye health and clean beauty through her active social media presence. Outside of work, Dr. Hecht enjoys cooking, Pilates, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr. Caroline Korkis is a double board-certified Optometrist in Canada and the UK, practicing across Toronto and the GTA. She has a special interest in dry eye management, diabetes-related eye care, and emergency eye services, offering advanced treatments like IPL therapy, microblepharoexfoliation, and punctal plug insertion. Alongside her clinical work, she lectures on Dry Eye Disease and advocates for patient education, clean beauty, and ocular health. Dedicated to community outreach, Dr. Korkis has led vision screenings for underserved schools in Toronto. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling, skiing, and tennis.
After graduating, Dr. Alpert worked in Atlanta, where he treated patients of all ages and backgrounds, focusing on providing quality, patient-centered care. He is thrilled to return to his hometown of Toronto and the GTA, where he continues to provide the same high standard of patient care.
Dr. Alpert is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO), and the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO).
In his free time, Dr. Alpert enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys biking, going on hikes, and catching up on the latest movies or TV shows.

Dr. Adam Alpert earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. After completing rotations in Atlanta, Chicago, Ottawa, and Pittsburgh, Dr. Alpert was named to the Clinical Dean’s List for high achievement and excellence in patient care. During his clinical experiences, he was exposed to a diverse patient base, where he gained extensive training in ocular disease, pediatrics, myopia management, dry eye management, and specialty contact lenses. While in optometry school, Dr. Alpert was an executive member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Society, as well as the Canadian Association of Optometric Students.
After graduating, Dr. Alpert worked in Atlanta, where he treated patients of all ages and backgrounds, focusing on providing quality, patient-centered care. He is thrilled to return to his hometown of Toronto and the GTA, where he continues to provide the same high standard of patient care.

Angelene Grewal
Angelene joined Bayview Vision in 2023 with a BSc in Life Sciences from McMaster University. She supports patients through all aspects of their visit, from pretesting to frame selection, always striving to deliver personalized care. Passionate about the connection between eye health and overall well-being, Angelene is also a devoted hockey fan—you’ll often find her cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs!

Karina Oliveira
Karina brings over 14 years of experience in optical care, having started her journey as a dispensing optician in Brazil in 2010. She’s passionate about helping patients choose eyewear that fits both their vision and lifestyle needs. With a background in design and a love for arts and architecture, Karina also contributes her creativity to Bayview Vision’s social media and events. A self-proclaimed millennial nerd, she’s a Harry Potter fan, a 2000s rock enthusiast, and an avid fantasy reader.
